We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Southampton. This is an exciting chance to help children thrive both academically and personally in a supportive, inclusive environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
* Support pupils' academic development and emotional well-being
* Provide targeted instruction in both 1:1 and small group settings
* Track and assess student progress, adapting your approach where needed
* Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support each child’s learning journey
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Applications welcome from ECTs, overseas-trained, or trainee teachers
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* A team-focused, empathetic approach with a commitment to student success
* Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in an educational setting
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK
* Updated CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
