Job Overview
As a Development Chemist at ATURA Proteins, you will collaborate with process and application technologists to innovate and enhance our range of plant-based proteins. Your expertise in protein science for food applications will help us develop novel formulations and improve existing products, contributing to our mission of promoting sustainably sourced plant proteins.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct research and development projects focused on protein chemistry and functionality in food systems.
* Collaborate with process technologists to optimise extraction and processing methods for plant-based proteins.
* Evaluate the nutritional and sensory properties of protein formulations through rigorous testing protocols.
* Develop and refine product applications to meet customer needs in various food and beverage contexts.
* Prepare and document technical reports, presentations, and product data sheets.
* Stay informed about the latest trends in food science and plant protein innovations.
* Assist in troubleshooting issues related to protein performance in products.
* Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness in product development.
