As a Graduate Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor, you will…
Contribute to the delivery of residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments from day one. You’ll gain exposure across all stages of the project lifecycle - from early-stage cost planning through to procurement and post-contract support.
Typical tasks include :
Cost Planning & Estimating :
* Assisting with preparation of budget estimates and elemental cost plans
* Supporting value engineering and feasibility assessments
* Working with project teams to understand design and cost impacts
Procurement Support :
* Helping to prepare tender documentation
* Supporting tender analysis and contractor appointment processes
* Assisting with the preparation of contract documents
Post-Contract Management :
* Monitoring project costs and preparing payment recommendations
* Supporting change control processes and cost forecasting
* Attending site and progress meetings with the project team
* Learning to manage commercial risks and support client objectives
What do we look for?
* A degree (or on track to complete one) in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related discipline
* A keen interest in the built environment and infrastructure development
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced mentors
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* A desire to work towards chartership
