Responsibilities
1. Development of new product manufacturing processes.
2. Programming, setting and running CNC equipment.
3. Creation of manufacturing standard operating procedures.
4. Identify improvement to existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
5. Purchase of new/replacement manufacturing equipment.
6. Completion of NCR’s.
7. Support root cause analysis.
Qualifications
Education:
8. HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline and/or proven work experience in a similar role.
Experience:
9. Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
10. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
11. Experienced programming, setting and operating, Multi axis milling, turning and grinding machines.
12. A good understanding of Heidenhain and Mazatrol controls would be advantageous, but not essential.
13. Experienced in the use of inspection equipment.
Competencies:
14. Good written and oral communication skills are required.
15. Must be able to work independently and connect with all levels of the organisation.
16. Computer literate - knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel an advantage - in order to produce reports, analyse data etc. optimally.
Travel:
17. Occasional travel maybe required.
