The opportunity has arisen to join NHS Borders AHP services supporting the development of education and workforce across our services. This role will complement our existing Practice Education Lead (PEL) role, providing input across a wide range of educational and workforce development areas. Examples include embedding support and supervision across AHP services, developing Advanced Practice and HCSW frameworks, embedding protected learning time and job planning, supporting Board recruitment and retention strategies, and developing service-level workforce planning in line with safe staffing legislation. This role is part of our wider Education team, offering a multi-professional approach to education and training, including our newly qualified practitioners programme (NQP) and simulation training.
