Assistant Head of Year (Non Teaching)
Location: Nottingham, NG5
Salary: £115 - £135 Per Day
Days: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

A secondary school in Nottingham (NG5) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head of Year (non-teaching) to support students within their year group, ensuring high standards of behaviour, attendance, and engagement with learning.
Acting as the main point of contact for parents, staff, and external agencies.
Act as a liaison between the Year team and external organisations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for staff referrals regarding behavioural issues.
Offer comprehensive support to promote students' physical and mental well-being.
Addressing behaviour issues and managing incidents.
Monitoring attendance and implementing improvement strategies.
Supporting student well-being and safeguarding.
Organising assemblies and student admissions.
Liaising with parents and coordinating meetings with staff.
Serve as the main contact for parents, managing inquiries and referring them to relevant staff when necessary.
Implement and monitor attendance improvement strategies and sanctions.Role Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role eg. Pastoral, Teacher, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Support Assistant.
Previous experience working with children/young people with additional support needs.
An Enhanced DBS and two professional references are a requirement for this role (we can support with this).
