Electrical Shift Engineer – Canning Town – £51k 5% Bonus Company Overview: Our client is a leading provider of building services solutions across high-profile commercial environments. Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining all electrical systems on site, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the smooth operation of the facility. The role offers a rotational shift pattern until early next year, after which you can select a permanent shift arrangement. Key Responsibilities: * Work on a rotational shift basis: one month of continental shifts (days and nights), followed by one month of Monday–Friday (8am–5pm). * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical systems. * Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in accordance with industry standards. * Undertake electrical testing, inspection, and certification in line with regulations. * Support safe systems of work, including HVAP and AP pressure systems where required. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. * Liaise with contractors and support project works as needed. Qualifications & Experience Required: * City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. * City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 Electrical Installations or equivalent. * 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred but not essential). * Experience in HVAP and AP pressure systems (advantageous). * Strong background in electrical maintenance within building services or critical environments.
