Are you a compassionate and motivated support practitioner looking to make a meaningful difference? Our education recruitment agency is seeking an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded specialist school in Kent that supports pupils with diverse and complex additional needs.
This school offers a therapeutic, nurturing, and personalised learning environment across Years 1-11, where pupils with diagnoses such as Autism, SEMH needs, communication needs, sensory processing needs, trauma histories, ODD and similar profiles are supported to thrive.
About the Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will work closely with class teachers and multidisciplinary teams to help pupils access their learning, develop self-regulation strategies and engage positively in school life.
You'll be involved in:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access the curriculum and broader school programme
Implementing individual behaviour support plans and therapeutic strategies
Helping pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation and independence skills
Contributing to a calm, structured and safe classroom environment
Your Profile
Experienced or confident working with pupils with additional needs (SEN / ASC / SEMH)
Warm, patient, and reflective in their approach
Adaptable and creative in support strategies
Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Formal qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, SEND support training) are desirable, but a great attitude and relevant experience are highly valued.
** £90 - £100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
