We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our educational team in Corby. This role is crucial in supporting students with special educational needs within various school settings. If you are passionate about inclusive education and have a desire to support children in overcoming learning barriers, this position is ideal for you.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including those with learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and physical disabilities.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt classroom activities to meet the needs of students.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' educational and social development.
* Utilize specialized tools and techniques to support students' learning and engagement.
* Monitor and report on the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the evaluation of IEPs.
* Facilitate a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within an SEN setting.
* Understanding of the educational needs and challenges faced by students with disabilities.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
* Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are preferred.
