The Role

Main duties and responsibilities
* Implement individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
* Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and others, respecting confidentiality
* Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events
* Maintain accurate notes and records
* Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
Personal Characteristics
* Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Confidence to work independently or in a team
* Passion for working with vulnerable adults
* Commitment to safeguarding standards

CareTech Community Services Ltd supports 5,000 adults across more than 300 services in the UK, providing care for individuals with diverse needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and more. We promote independence and self-confidence through various community-based settings.
Successful candidates will need to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure, with costs covered by the employer.
