You have a degree or significant experience in Civil Engineering. You understand highway-related legislation and health and safety codes deeply and strive to foster a culture of continuous improvement. What the Job Involves As a Project Engineer, your primary responsibility is the efficient and effective delivery of projects such as public realm enhancements, road maintenance, vehicle crossovers, and more. You will conduct preliminary site surveys, manage project budgets and resources, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will maintain relationships with stakeholders, adhere to the Council's crossover policy, and serve as a representative at meetings, as necessary. You will also play a significant role in planning, development, financial management, and the continuous improvement of services. Hybrid working arrangements include four days in the office.
