Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Glamorgan (Hybrid)
Salary up to £47,000 + Relocation + Benefits.
I am currently recruiting for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to work for a cutting‑edge technology company based in Glamorgan, but on a hybrid basis if applicable. The organisation has been in operation for many years and is a worldwide leader within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover north of £85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.
In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
In this role as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of 4 other engineers while being hands‑on to ensure that the quality of the products meets or exceeds the expected standards while conforming with the necessary standards. You will be responsible for completing all APQP tasks which will include PPAPs, D/PFMEA'S, Control Plans, Capability Studies, FAIRS, DMAICs and CAPA'S. As a Senior, you will also liaise with senior stakeholders in other departments as well as be involved in meetings mainly with R&D and Projects.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer or similar
* Previous experience with leading or managing other people
* Previous experience liaising with and managing other departments' expectations
* Previous experience with AQPQ; PPAPs, D/PFMEA'S, Control Plans, Capability Studies, FAIRS, DMAICs and CAPA'S
