Overview
At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and you can play a part as a Security Officer at our Ashchurch site. This full‑time role is based on site at Ashchurch, working a 42‑hour shift pattern: 4 working days, 4 days off, 4 working nights, 4 days off.
Responsibilities
* Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing staff and visitors of policy and procedures, and deterring trespassers.
* Compile reports by recording observations, information, incidents, and surveillance activities.
* Ensure the security, safety and well‑being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
* Maintain the environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
* Secure premises with regular patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points, and permitting entry if required.
* Obtain help by sounding alarms and marshalling assistance.
Essential Experience
Ideally you will have previous security experience; this is not essential.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
