Senior Product Specialist
Location: Cornwall (with occasional travel to Cardiff)
Salary: £55,000 + Bonus
Relocation Package: £8,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Specialist to join a growing, high-performing organisation operating within highly regulated environments. This role is based in Cornwall, with occasional travel to Cardiff required, and is ideally suited to candidates from the medical devices, pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar regulated industries where quality, compliance, and technical rigour are critical.
The Role:
As a Senior Product Specialist, you will act as a technical and commercial expert for a defined product portfolio, supporting the full product lifecycle from development and launch through to optimisation and customer support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Operations to ensure products meet regulatory requirements while delivering real value to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the technical authority for assigned products, providing expert guidance internally and externally
* Support product development, validation, and change control activities within regulated frameworks
* Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements
* Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure ongoing compliance (e.g. GMP, ISO, regulatory submissions)
* Support commercial teams with technical insight, training, and customer engagement
* Drive continuous improvement across product performance, documentation, and processes
About You:
* Proven experience in a Product Specialist / Product Manager / Technical Specialist role
* Background within medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, or other highly regulated environments
* Strong understanding of quality systems, validation, and change management
* Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Structured, detail-focused, and comfortable working in compliance-driven environments
