This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to play a key role in the firm's day-to-day financial operations.Based in the Ilford office, you will work closely with an experienced finance team, managing a varied and rewarding workload in a fast-paced legal environment.The Role Key responsibilities include: Processing transactions on client and office accountsCarrying out daily bank reconciliationsManaging incoming and outgoing payments, including BACS and CHAPSPosting bills, disbursements, and write-offsLiaising with solicitors, clients, and external organisationsHandling petty cash and staff expensesWorking closely with fee earners and external accountantsSupporting month-end and year-end financial reportingAssisting with credit control and recovery of outstanding balancesMaintaining accurate financial records and ledgersEnsuring full compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) Skills & Experience The successful candidate will have: Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm (essential)Strong working knowledge of SRA Accounts RulesExceptional attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and organisational skillsProficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft ExcelAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamLegal Aid experience (desirable)
