Position Summary
Full‑time (10PA) 12‑month fixed‑term post based at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH). Candidates should have completed comprehensive ear, nose and throat training with an interest in paediatric otolaryngology. A fellowship in paediatric otolaryngology is desirable but not essential; the Trust supports development in paediatric ENT, especially paediatric otology, once in post.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in a 1 in 8 weekday on‑call rota and 1 in 11 weekend on‑call.
* Engage in the Trust’s Clinical Governance programme, including audit, quality improvement, guideline development, professional development, appraisal and risk management.
* Serve as a member of the Consultant Staff Committee.
* Deliver a high‑quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare service and embody NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence, promoting an inclusive culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Comprehensive ENT training with a focus on paediatric otolaryngology.
* Full GMC licence to practise required on application.
* Fellowship in paediatric otolaryngology desirable but not essential.
