Passionate about great food, coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything we do, we are currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead our team of 22 at a beautiful B&I site in Ware. The site spans two walkable buildings and offers a coffee shop, staff dining with breakfast and lunch, as well as vending.

* Rate of pay: £45,000‑£48,000 per annum
* Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7 am to 3 30 pm core hours

Key responsibilities
* Manage a free issues food offer and drive a programme of vending and staff dining
* Lead an innovative and controlled product range
* Support the supply of a free issues coffee programme working with an experienced Barista team
* Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business
* Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured and are in line with the CH&CO brand
* Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the fixed budget parameters
* Provide effective performance management and appraisals to all Front of House staff in the business and the Head Chef
* Ensure all staff carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety
* Effectively communicate with the European Hub of the clients business
