Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Stockport, Greater Manchester

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Stockport for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days. There will be no weekends or OOH work.
The Vet will be responsible for leading the team and developing and growing the A&E services. They are looking for a dedicated Vet and ideally someone who has previous ECC experience or certificate.
They are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has some previous management experience and looking to lead and manage an A&E department within an hospital.
About the role:
The practice requires a veterinary surgeon who has solid all round general medical and surgical skills and who is also comfortable working sole charge on occasion. Excellent customer service skills are vital and the ability to establish good working relationships with clients, patients and fellow team members. The practice believes strongly in case continuity so the vet will be able to work up cases fully and see them from start to finish with plenty oftime available to document the services provided.
The vet must be enthusiastic and passionate about their work. As a busy practice there is excellent opportunities to continue to learn and grow and areas of special interest are actively encouraged and supported.
The role will involve a mixture of clinical and no clinical work, providing on going support to the team. The Vet will be expected to be available to make urgent decisions and offer advice. They will be responsible for dealing with any complaints. The role offers a 40 hour week and will be a mixture of day and night shifts.

Package:
27. Salary: £49, to £70, per annum, commensurate to experience
