Overview
We are a well-established GP training practice in Altrincham seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse or a nurse looking to further develop their skills within a supportive, educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality treatment room services including wound care, dressings, ECGs, and venepuncture
* Deliver chronic disease management clinics (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma/COPD)
* Administer adult and childhood immunisations in line with NHS guidelines
* Perform cervical screening (smear tests) and women’s health services
* Support health promotion and patient education initiatives
* Work collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, HCAs, and trainees within the practice
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection-control and safeguarding standards

Ideal Candidate
* Registered Nurse (NMC)
* Experience in primary care preferred, but full training can be provided for the right candidate
* Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Confident in delivering person‑centred care within a busy primary care setting
