About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in energy and commodities to join the London team onsite. You’ll play a central role in delivering cutting-edge trading solutions, supporting client implementations, and enhancing the platform’s functionality across various energy markets—including oil, gas, power, certificates, and metals.
This is a hands-on role working closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure the platform meets evolving market needs.
Responsibilities
* Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
* Define and manage enhancements to the energy trading framework, including new instruments and workflows
* Translate complex business needs into clear specifications for the product and development teams
* Support implementation projects and platform configuration for energy clients
* Participate in testing and validation of new features and system updates
* Deliver product training and subject matter expertise to internal teams and external users
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in the energy trading or commodities domain, ideally within trading systems or vendor platforms
* Solid understanding of commodity derivatives (OTC and exchange-traded), pricing and risk methodologies, market data, and trade lifecycle processes
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions
* Comfortable working in a client-facing role with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
* Degree (Master’s preferred) in a technical or quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
