Job overview
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative, and experienced manager to join the NOTSSCaN Divisional Team. You will be experienced in managing projects, operational metrics, improvement techniques and analytics to deliver a challenging but exciting programme of change. The post holder will be driving the implementation of several specific existing strategic and operational transformation plans. They will support reporting, planning and delivery of service reconfiguration, cost improvement plan realisation, and improvement projects across the Division.
Main duties of the job
•Responsible for the management and leadership of projects and their deliverables, performance and development
•Use multiple and innovative ways of communicating implications and awareness of decisions and interdependencies
•Manage the creation and delivery of the project plan, including milestones, benefits, approach and resource required.
•Create, manage and own relevant project plans.
•At any point in time, have a detailed view of the key project milestones, including associated dependencies and risks and issues.
•Act as an expert in change management using recognised best practice methodologies and techniques to deliver against objectives and provide advice and support to Directorates carrying out changes and projects.
Develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise change and project success; ensuring their active involvement and engagement.
•Produce required outcomes and quality standards within agreed time and financial parameters. Where this involves efficiency savings, work with colleagues to ensure that these are realistic and measurable.
•Have specialist technical knowledge of change, quality improvement and project management including the use of tools and techniques to support delivery and implementation.
•Understand theoretical concepts of leadership and service improvement to deliver against objectives including complex change management
