We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Sponsorship Manager to join our dynamic events team. This is an exciting opportunity working across several brands for Future's award-winning events, including The Photography Show, Homebuilding & Renovating Shows, Decanter, and our wider portfolio. In this senior commercial sales role, you will identify, secure, and manage key sponsorship opportunities.
Reporting to the Head of Event Partnerships, you will work closely with the event sales and operations teams to create compelling sponsorship opportunities to take to market. We aim to generate new business from non-endemic brands to enhance our events. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Sponsorship Strategy & Planning: Develop a comprehensive sponsorship strategy that aligns with event objectives. Work with teams to create sponsorship packages and tailor opportunities to meet sponsor needs.
2. Sponsorship Sales & Acquisition: Identify potential headline sponsors, initiate outreach, build relationships, showcase the opportunity, and close sponsorship deals.
3. Contract Negotiation & Management: Negotiate sponsorship terms and agreements, ensuring all deliverables, benefits, and expectations are clearly defined. Manage agreements to ensure sponsor satisfaction.
4. Post-Event Reporting: Analyse and report on the effectiveness of sponsorship programmes post-event, providing sponsors with data and insights that highlight their Return on Investment. Collect feedback from sponsors to improve future offerings.
5. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor events to identify new sponsorship opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements include:
* 3+ years of experience in Sales
* Experience with direct client sales
* Experience negotiating contracts

The role offers a salary range of £39,000 - £50,000. It is a hybrid role based in our London office, working three days in the office and two from home. Perks include:
