Responsibilities
1. Work with SMEs to establish the portfolio of documents required.
2. Understand each method of backup and restore used within the environment.
3. Produce high-quality, comprehensive documentation based on the information obtained.
4. Ensure documentation meets quality standards and is user-friendly.
5. Submit documents for peer review and amend as required.
Skills and Experience:
1. Essential
2. Excellent technical authoring skills.
3. Good understanding of Infrastructure generally (Windows, Unix, Linux, Networking, Virtualisation).
4. Knowledge of Storage and Backup systems (e.g., EMC Networker, Rubrik, TSM) is preferable.
5. Expert in standard authoring tools such as Word, Excel, and Visio.
Work Experience:

2. Proven experience as a technical author, preferably in storage.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Proven track record of delivering within challenging timeframes.
