About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
* Occasional troubleshooting and repair.
* Potential for infrequent daytime emergency callouts.
* Ensuring machinery and systems operate efficiently and safely.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience maintaining industrial machinery.
* Preventative maintenance
* Previous experience with shot blasting machines, air compressors, conveyors, pressure systems, or industrial steam boilers would be highly beneficial.
* Strong problem-solving skills.

Duties
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
* Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify issues.
* Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.
* Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as necessary.
* Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.
* Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in maintenance engineering with strong mechanical knowledge.
* Proficiency in electrical systems and experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
* Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
* Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
* Previous supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
