JUNIOR HELPDESK ENGINEER - 12 Month FTC
LONDON
Our client, a leading global telecommunications company, is looking for an Onsite Helpdesk Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis for a period of 12 months.

Job Duties
* Communicate with end users from the EMEA region face-to-face or via telephone, email, or collaboration tools.
* Perform 1st level troubleshooting of technical issues and assist end users as their escalation point.
* Provide hands-on desktop/laptop support.
* Implement and optimize network and PC systems.
* Plan and design customer PC and network setups.
* Manage migration planning and execution, support PC and Call Centre systems (including DC server).
* Conduct proof of concept testing and acceptance testing.
* Negotiate and manage vendor relationships.
* Develop and implement new features and services.
* Establish and deactivate PC/Desktop security systems.
* Manage project and service delivery schedules.
* Create documented approaches for implementation and modifications.
* Visit customer sites for project work or maintenance as required, including cover staff.
* Provide periodic status reports to line managers.
* Coordinate operational workflows with departments and customers.
Candidate Requirements
* Proficiency in PC software such as Windows 10/11, Antivirus, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, Virtualization, Cloud (AWS, Azure), Office/Mail, Switch/Router/IPT, VPN (SSL-VPN), and Firewall products.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Japanese language skills are an advantage.
* Ability to investigate and resolve technical issues via email and phone inquiries.
