KPMG UK’s Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) is a team of approximately 400 professionals, recognized as a leading independent adviser in the infrastructure sector. IAG has locations in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Manchester, operating on a national basis.
IAG offers comprehensive advice on strategic, financial, regulatory, and commercial issues related to infrastructure investments in the UK and internationally. This includes strategic consultancy for companies and investors, public sector project development, negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, tax, accounting, and due diligence.
Social infrastructure is a key sector for IAG, covering real estate (healthcare, housing, education) and decentralised energy sectors. The focus is on developing new infrastructure and retrofitting and decarbonising existing built environments.

What will you be doing?
* Supporting client engagement delivery and business development
* Managing inputs from internal teams and external advisers
* Producing high-quality documentation and presentations
* Developing financial models and conducting financial analyses
* Supporting business development and network building
* Assisting in proposals and pitch development
* Introducing innovative ideas to target clients
What will you need to do it?
* Experience with infrastructure projects and low carbon energy sectors (e.g., Onshore Wind, Solar PV, District Heating, Waste-to-Energy, Carbon Capture)
* Knowledge of financing and commercial structures in public-private partnerships and low carbon projects
* Numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
* Strong report and business case writing skills; proficient in Word and PowerPoint
* Experience working in small project teams
* Comfortable presenting to clients
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, banking, finance, or practical experience in infrastructure delivery and development
