Main duties of the job
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:Deliver high quality, effective clinical care.Adhere to our values and beliefs at Nuffield Health, in which we encourage behaviour which is enterprising, passionate, independent and caring.Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient's needs.Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided.Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes.To succeed as a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.Be able to demonstrate excellent rehabilitation skills.Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills.Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
About us
The Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres - 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms with a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service.We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.

Qualifications
* As a Senior Physiotherapist at our hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
Experience
* You also have excellent clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
