Arbor Forest is a well-established manufacturing business specialising in MDF products. We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated FLT / Sideloader Operative to join our team on a permanent night shift at our New Holland site.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Feed packs onto the line de-skidded and un-banded ready for use
* Removal of produce from the line and stacking in allocated space
* Stack packs so the skids are uniform and stacks are safe
* Unloading and recording raw MDF products and general deliveries
* Ensuring stock rotation of raw and finished products
* Creating room prior to production runs, liaising with the Yard Manager and Finished Products Supervisor
* Organising MDF drivers with regards to work and stock movements
* Loading and unloading of Paint IBC’s
* Removal of waste IBC’s
* Laying out of IBC’s for vacuum tanker collection
* Reporting any maintenance issues via T-Cards system
* Daily service checks/work according to service schedules of the Sideloader/FLT
* Weekly check of service sheets of MDF Sideloader/FLT
* Reporting any machine defects to office personnel
* Carrying out all work in line with current risk assessments and SOP’s

Skills & Knowledge
Basic Numeracy & English
Valid Side Loader & experience on Side Loader Forklift
Full UK (or recognised) Driving Licence

General Responsibilities

Use communication devices (including radio headsets) where necessary
