2. Job role: Kitchen Porter /Hospitality Assistant
3. Location: Southampton
4. Rates: £12.21 - 16.24 per hour
5. Client name: Waitrose/ JLP
6. Job Type: Zero hours contract (Ad hoc/bank staff)
Duties and Responsibilities:
7. Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls, large equipment) clean and sanitised
8. Sweep and mop floors
9. Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
10. Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery
11. Take out the rubbish
12. Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
13. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
14. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
15. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
16. Work well within a team and communicate openly with others
17. Build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit, having fun and celebrating success
18. Be at work on time, well-presented and ready to be a brand ambassador
Note: Level 1 Food and Hygiene Certificate required - If you don't already have the certificate, we can help you obtain one for a fee of £18 - the certificate will be valid throughout the UK.
