About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join our IT support team. If you are passionate about technology and troubleshooting, this role offers the chance to support internal staff across various platforms.
The Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 6am and 4:30pm. Additionally, Saturday and Bank Holiday shifts from 7am to 1pm with extra pay.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
* Escalate complex issues appropriately.
* Document issues and solutions thoroughly.
* Educate users on IT best practices and troubleshooting.
* Collaborate to improve internal processes.
About You
Technical Skills
* Knowledge of Windows and MacOS.
* Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD.
* Understanding of network fundamentals.
* Experience with Intune and mobile device management.
* Hardware troubleshooting skills.
* Basic knowledge of VoIP and softphone applications.
* Familiarity with endpoint security and cybersecurity practices.
Essential Requirements
* At least 18 months experience in a similar role.
* Genuine interest in technology.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Organized with a positive attitude.
* Full driving license.
