Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a proven sales track record to grow and develop our range of Gravimetric Blending solutions, along with associated plastics ancillary equipment.
With a product focused strategy to increase growth within the UK Plastics Sector.
Who would like to develop within a customer focused and friendly team, with a good knowledge of Polymer Processing.
Together with a creative eye for detail. You will enjoy the challenge of growing and developing your customer base and market share.
Although not necessary, a working knowledge of Gravimetric Blending would be an advantage.
The most important thing is that you will have a genuine interest in the Business Development and a sound practical ability, as the work requires skill and understanding.
It is important to see opportunities instead of problems, be thorough and thrive in the collaboration with others.
Role:
This is a hybrid role combining working from home, office & UK wide travel.
You will have strong interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
Plan and identify sales opportunities in line with the company’s sales strategy.
Working in the field to conduct routine sales visits and customer demonstrations / trials.
Preparing quotations accurately & follow up with the aim to win the business.
Liaises with the customer to arrange a delivery date and realistically manage the customers' expectations.
To prepare and maintain a sales pipeline.
General promotion of the brand by attending exhibitions and networking events
Supported by an extensive product and sales training.
Reporting to UK Sales Director
Working mainly Monday to Friday.
* The role will involve travelling throughout mainland UK, with the occasional visit to Ireland.
