The Groups Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
Applications are invited for the above position at our Ballyrashane site: The Role: The successful applicant will support our Maintenance & Engineering Manager by co-ordinating daily and weekly planning of engineering tasks, ensuring appropriate resources are sourced and available when and when required.
Our Engineering Coordinator will actively contribute to the working culture of operational excellence and direct the maintenance teams day to day operations in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
Additional Key responsibilities will include (Not limited to): Receive and review Like for Like (L4L) work requests, ensuring all necessary information has been obtained and is accurate.
Planning & Scheduling Planning of L4L work requests and schedule work to maximum crew efficiency.
Maintain good communication with originator of requests Based upon the detailed job plan, identify and procure the required materials or specific service required for L4L activities.
Ensure that L4L work orders that are agreed as ready to schedule have all relevant resources (including parts and materials) available in time.
Maintain effective communication with appropriate personnel including operations staff especially in relation to any potential adjustments to production plans or to determine priorities due to constraints.
Assist the DTR to consolidate new PPM routines, which are generated from the Engineering Action Group reviews with the existing routines, eliminating duplications, adding new tasks, deleting routines no longer required and optimizing the schedule.
Procurement and sourcing of quality spare parts at the best possible price Provide support for the Dedicated Technical Resource Technicians (DTRs) based upon maintenance labour and parts resources.
The person: To be successful in this role applicants shall require: Previous experience of purchasing and maintenance planning.
Excellent Microsoft office skills The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally Can adapt quickly to change and has a can-do attitude Excellent communication skills A relevant engineering qualification would be advantageous.
