Your Role
* Own and direct teams that undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high‑quality levels.
* Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Set quality assurance standards in design.
* Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.
About You
* Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
* Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Comprehensive knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environments.
* Expert knowledge of current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance.
