We are seeking a nurse who is motivated to work within The Neuroscience Research Delivery Team: Dendron, based at The John Radcliffe Hospital.
Working on a range of clinical studies including early phase research through to later phase, observational studies and biomarker studies. You will be working as part of a busy and dynamic team made up of research nurses, research practitioners and research administrators.
Delivering a range of medical treatments including intravenous, subcutaneous and oral medications for trials.
We dont expect people to have experience in delivering clinical research, but you should have an interest to work within our field. We encourage people to get in touch about coming for an informal visit or shadowing one of our clinics.
Main duties of the job
Employed as a staff nurse to facilitate the research pathway for participants in clinical trials. Will be directly involved in:
Øassessing, planning & implementing care for clinical trial participants during research visits
Øcollection and documentation of accurate data and record of care if appropriate.
Øprovide support for a range of research studies and be expected to be flexible to work across a broad portfolio
Øassist in the recruitment & retention of participants
·Fulfil the expectations and capabilities as delegated by the Sponsor, Chief Investigator or Principal Investigator as set out in GCP & Research Governance Framework
·Work collaboratively with OUH service delivery colleagues to ensure high quality participant care and experience
·Work across the Neurosciences Research Team: Dendron portfolio. Inclusive of in-patient, out-patient, outreach, community and home visits.
