Overview
Psychotherapy and Substance Use Service Volunteer role based at Weymouth Coffee Tavern, Weymouth, DT4 8JH. Hours: 5 per week, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the CBT Therapist at Reach. Days/Times: Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons.
What you’ll do
* Co-facilitate group sessions alongside psychotherapists and keyworkers.
* Assist in client assessments in collaboration with keyworkers.
* Support data collection, organisation, and analysis.
* Gather and collate client feedback to inform service improvements.
* Contribute to the development of therapeutic resources.

About you
* A background in Psychology, Counselling, or related field (minimum undergraduate level).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach.
* An understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
* Confidence with IT systems (training modules are delivered online).
* A non-judgmental, compassionate, and professional attitude.
* Experience in mental health, substance use, group facilitation, or therapeutic services is desirable but not essential.

Our vision is to break down barriers to support, tackling poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.
