Protocol Education is working with a brilliant network of secondary schools across Sunderland and nearby areas—including Fulwell, Southwick, Hendon, Seaburn, and Washington—who are on the lookout for engaging, adaptable History Teachers to join their teams this September.

What you'll be doing:
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 History in well-supported local schools
* Planning engaging, differentiated lessons that bring history off the page
* Building confident, curious learners through creativity and clarity
* Working with pastoral and SEN staff to support pupil progress
* (Optional) Leading extracurriculars like debating clubs or history societies
What we're looking for:
* UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the past
* Confident classroom presence with a creative edge
* A kind, professional approach to pupils of all backgrounds
* Willingness to work across a range of schools and settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
