We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our expanding nursery team.
Located in Cherry Tree, Blackburn, our purpose built setting offers childcare for children aged 9months through to aged 5.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for an energised and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioners - with a minimum of 1 years experience - to join our growing team.
This opportunity would ideally suit practitioners with the love of the outdoors as we are very much about being in our safe and secure garden area, creating potions, making mud pies as well as digging in the sand pit, planting in our wildflower beds or going on bear hunts.
The ideal candidate must have the following:-
* Be fun and have a sense of Humour
* Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification
* Be passionate about the Early Years
* Love getting messy and being creative
* Have a baby unit experience
* Have knowledge of the Current Statutory Framework and The Development Matters Guidance
* Have Safeguarding knowledge
* Have experience of a key-person system and have completed planning and observations for individual children's learning styles and needs
* Be a team player
* Hold a current First Aid Certificate
* Be willing to complete additional training to keep up to date with current legal requirements and to enhance own Continuous Professional Development.
* Work 5 days per week on a 7.75hr shift pattern.
* Hold a valid driving licence - not essential but desirable
