* Discover and convert new business opportunities, from standard lending to complex deals like Development Finance
* Assess lending risk carefully, ensuring thorough, transparent, and compliant proposals
* Support client retention and growth through annual reviews and portfolio management
* Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve processes
* Maintain accurate forecasting and sales tracking for better decision-making
* Manage borrower requests impacting credit risk to protect the bank’s position
* Encourage feedback and drive service improvements to enhance customer experience
Who You Are
You're commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and driven by building meaningful relationships with clients and your team. Experience in commercial or development lending is a plus, but attitude and ambition are most important.
Skills Required:
* Proven success in business development, whether directly or via introducers
* Strong credit analysis skills and commercial acumen
* Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
