A secondary school in Hastings is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join our dedicated and supportive team. The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Promote participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through sport and physical activity.
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with departmental and national expectations.
* Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programme, including clubs, fixtures, and events.
* Support students of all abilities to participate and achieve in physical education.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching Physical Education in a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for sport and physical activity.
* Has high expectations for student achievement, behaviour, and participation.
* Is committed to inclusive education and encouraging all students to engage in physical activity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
