Sports Coach – Blackburn Contract: April 2026 – July 2026 Pay: £14.30–£16.00 per hour Setting: Mainstream Primary School
A primary school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to support pupils in a classroom-based role from April to July 2026. Although the school values a strong sports background, this position does not involve direct sports coaching. Instead, you’ll be working within mainstream primary classrooms, helping to deliver engaging learning, supporting pupils’ development, and contributing to a positive school environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting teaching and learning across a range of primary year groups
* Assisting with classroom activities, group work, and behaviour support
* Using your sports knowledge to promote teamwork, confidence, and positive attitudes
* Helping pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged in lessons
* Working closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
