Offer description

We are seeking an Office Manager to manage the showroom, coordinate job scheduling, prepare quotations for customers and support with day-to-day administrative operations. This is a key position that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Discovery Stone is a stone fabrication business based in Broughty Ferry that manufactures quartz, Dekton and granite worktops for kitchens and bathrooms. We work with kitchen designers, house builders and joiners but also welcome walk-in customers into our showroom looking to upgrade kitchen worktops or find stone offcuts for DIY projects.

In the last 12 months, we have taken on an additional 9 staff, seen sales grow substantially and won The Courier 2025 Young Business of the Year.

Key Responsibilities

* Greet and assist customers and visitors professionally in our showroom.
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries.
* Coordinate templating and installation schedules, ensuring all materials are in stock in a timely fashion and liaising closely with the production team.
* Prepare and issue customer quotations based on project requirements and material selections.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations, and job progress.
* Liaise with the directors, templating teams, production team, and installation teams to ensure smooth project flow.
* Oversee bookkeeping activities, invoicing and financial recordkeeping using QuickBooks.
* Support day-to-day administrative and office operations.

Requirements

* Proven experience in a similar administrative, planning, or customer service role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic data entry systems.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotations and documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
