New Directions Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly and supportive primary school in Denton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of primary-aged pupils.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
6. Supporting teaching staff across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
7. Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
8. Assisting with the delivery of engaging lessons
9. Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and social development
10. Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions
The Ideal Candidate:
11. Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
12. Has previous experience working in a primary school setting, ideally across KS1 and KS2
13. Is willing to complete an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service (if not already registered)
14. Can provide references covering at least the last 5 years of employment or study
15. Is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s learning
