Job Title: Project Worker
Reports To: Senior Project Worker
Responsible To: Project Manager
Salary: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
Location: Belfast (some travel within Northern Ireland may be required)
Hours Of Work: 37.5 hours per working week.

Purpose of Project Worker
* The facilitation of a therapeutic setting via the implementation of group and one-to-one work with key clients.
* Assist with the facilitation of a participative environment enabling the client to gain increasing independence and to develop to their full potential.
Therapeutic Programme Development, Maintenance and Review
* Contribute to the development and participation of a programme centred towards rehabilitative and supportive care.
* The promotion and enablement of each client to further enhance their independence within the therapeutic setting.
* Assisting allocated clients with a personalised and bespoke support to assist with their development within the therapeutic setting.
* Adopting a collaborative approach in the development of the community, with client involvement.
* Facilitation of regular working groups with clients and for staff developmental purposes.
Staff Development
* Adopt a coaching approach for newly joined Project Workers and Wardens (if applicable).
Project Operations
* Assist the Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager or nominee, with operational efficiency of the Project.
* Ensure agreed level of occupancy.
* Regular maintenance of standardised records for the service.
* Compliance and adherence to Licence and Tenancy Agreements.
* Ensure the service operates within agreed budgetary parameters.
* Compliance with Health and Safety legislation, including fire prevention safety standards, cleanliness, and other associated hygiene standards.
* Additional administration tasks as required by the Project Manager.
External Stakeholders
* Engage with external stakeholders such as Health and Social Care Trusts, Northern Ireland Housing Executive, and appointed Housing Associations.
* Maintain regular contact with designated allied health professionals, including mental health nurses.
Collaborative Working
* Regular attendance and participation in staff meetings as scheduled.
* Work collaboratively with internal departments: Finance, Digital, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Learning and Development.
Supervision and Training
* Participate in monthly supervision sessions with Manager or suitable nominee.
* Ensure participation in mandatory and refresher training.
Health & Safety
* Adhere to Threshold Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
* Report and record any defects or accidents immediately.
* Contribute to the overall cleanliness of facilities.
* Act as a Deputy Fire Warden and/or First Aid Person if designated.

Person Specification
Essential
* GCSE English and Mathematics Grades A‑C or equivalent.
* Six months full‑time experience in a Health & Social Care environment such as mental health, rehabilitation or learning disability.
* Flexible to work a rota/shift basis in a mental health setting, including early, night, weekend, or cover as required.
* One year demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Desirable
* Valid current driving licence or access to transport.
* Proven experience working in mental health.
This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Access NI Check.
