Here's What You'll Be Doing
Salary £45,636 - £57,937 plus excellent employee benefits and career progression.
Location – Derby (Hybrid working role).
We are looking for a permanent Commercial Analyst responsible for managing the asset value process and applying relevant commercial principles. You will own and manage the business’s market domain data and charging methodologies.
Main Responsibilities of the role
* Manage the asset value process, ensuring accurate calculation and application of relevant commercial principles.
* Regularly review and update commercial principles to reflect current market conditions and company policies.
* Collaborate with new business teams to prepare asset adoption offers.
* Provide commercial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
* Manage and own the business’s market domain data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Develop and maintain charging methodologies in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Support the Distribution Use of System (DUOS) billing function.
* Conduct commercial analysis to support various business functions.
* Work with key stakeholders and senior management to develop accurate business reports.
What We Need From You
What we need you to have:
* Experience in a Commercial Analyst role, preferably within the regulated energy sector.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management and billing.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proactive and results-driven.
It would be great if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience within an IDNO/DNO.
