Responsibilities
* Carry out extensive social work tasks focused on assessments, care planning, and support package development to ensure child welfare is prioritised.
* Undertake initial and comprehensive core assessments aligned with the Assessment Framework.
* Develop, implement, and manage effective care plans and support packages tailored to the needs of children and families.
* Fulfil statutory duties concerning children in care, ensuring their needs and rights are met.
* Engage in responsibilities related to children under Care and Support Protection Plans.
* Manage tasks concerning other children requiring Care and Support Plans.
* Conduct care proceedings with a focus on the child's best interest and legal compliance.
* Input accurate and timely data into the Care First system.
* Collaborate with professionals to deliver services according to the Wales Safeguarding Procedures and Pembrokeshire Child Care Procedures.
* Adapt to additional tasks as necessary, maintaining high standards of care.
