Cardiothoracic Cardiology Staff Nurse - Ward at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. Permanent, full-time role. Up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience. 37.5 hours a week.
Main duties of the job
As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will: be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker; join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward; fully understand and pay close attention to each patients needs; work directly with some of the best clinical talent around; gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities; collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care; have recent experience in caring for cardiology or cardiac surgery patients.

Nuffield Health at St Bartholomews Hospital. Were opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomews Hospital: The City of Londons only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomews NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, genecology and urology services. Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre, with 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
Job responsibilities
Cardiothoracic Cardiology Staff Nurse - Ward, Nuffield Health St Bartholomews Hospital. Permanent, full-time. Up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience. 37.5 hours a week. As a Staff Nurse on the cardiothoracic and cardiology ward, youll drive the standard in patient care. Youre registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience. As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:
