Igloo is looking for Compound Drivers to join our client’s team in Corby. This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join one of the UK's leading automotive companies, which has operations across the country.
As a Compound Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely moving a wide range of vehicles around a large compound, ensuring they are delivered to the correct location without damage.
The Role:
1. Move vehicles within the compound, including bay parking and driving vehicles to and from the workshops.
2. Drive a range of vehicles, from family cars to high-value performance models.
3. Operate manual, automatic, semi-automatic, and electric vehicles.
4. Inspect vehicles before moving them, reporting any damage found.
The Person:
5. UK driving licence held for a minimum of two years, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
6. Comfortable driving a diverse range of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
7. Experience with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
8. Previous professional driving experience is advantageous.
9. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, wearing safety boots and vehicle-friendly clothing.
