🚀 Infrastructure Architect – Contract Opportunity

Looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a leading financial services organisation, working within a high-performing Enterprise Architecture team.
This is a key role focused on delivering the final phase of a large-scale Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migration (currently 75% complete), while also supporting a wider Azure cloud adoption strategy across a complex, enterprise environment.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
* Leading the remaining 25% of the AVS migration
* Supporting Azure adoption across IaaS & PaaS services
* Producing HLDs & LLDs and providing hands-on delivery support
* Working across multiple initiatives including DR, backup, networking & cloud connectivity
* Acting as a bridge between architecture, engineering, and enterprise governance
* Troubleshooting performance and functional issues across platforms
🧠 Key experience required
* Strong background as an Infrastructure / Cloud Architect
* Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, governance)
* Hands-on experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
* Solid knowledge of hybrid infrastructure & networking (SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, Hub & Spoke)
* Experience with backup & DR solutions (e.g. Commvault, Cohesity, JetStream)
* Ability to produce and present technical designs (HLD/LLD)
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments (desirable)
