About the Role
In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional product availability, supporting Heineken secondary volume. Your main focus will be on process improvement, digital transformation, and team optimisation. You'll also play a central role in training and upskilling the team, driving a culture of continuous improvement through better reporting, data‑driven decision‑making, and enhanced capability.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of third‑party vendors, ensuring service requirements are met, and lead the end‑to‑end process for introducing new listings and suppliers into the network.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives using TPM methodology, driving cross‑functional projects, supporting SKU rationalisation, and leading system and process enhancements that boost efficiency and reduce cost.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders—including suppliers, GXO, Demand Planning, and Commercial teams—to improve forecast accuracy, optimise availability, and minimise stock loss.
* Lead and support the day‑to‑day operations of the team, providing resource cover when needed, producing performance reports (KPIs, alerts, stock age, etc.), and deputising for the Team Manager when required.
* Provide holiday cover for the Inter Opco & External Sourcing planner, which is a key role managing the planning of Heineken supplied products from around the globe into the UK.
* The team support on Heineken D&T projects, such as Digital Backbone and APO replacement.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced, proactive planner who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings strong stakeholder management skills, and has a passion for developing people and processes. Qualifications & Desired Experience
* 3–5 years’ experience in a dynamic FMCG planning environment.
* Experience in using SAP and Excel.
* Data‑savvy, analytical, and able to turn insight into action to support key business decisions.
* A proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
* Strong understanding of the Heineken UK Supply Chain and experience managing performance through KPIs.
* A confident team leader with a track record in people management and development.
