Kingsley Napley LLP
Financial Services Group - Financial Services Associate (1-6 years’ PQE)
We are looking for an Associate (1-6 PQE) to join our growing Financial Services Group, specialising in contentious financial services work.
Our contentious financial services practice is recognized as one of the best in the UK, described in Legal 500 as ‘a powerful team with excellent criminal crossover’.
Within the Criminal Litigation team, we focus on criminal and regulatory enforcement, advising on financial and non-financial misconduct. Our main work involves criminal insider dealing cases and regulatory investigations into senior managers, with involvement in high-profile cases before the Upper Tribunal.
Candidates should have significant experience working with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and advising FCA-regulated firms and individuals, with a deep understanding of the FCA’s regulatory framework.
You will work alongside leading criminal partners and collaborate with other practice areas at Kingsley Napley, including Employment and Dispute Resolution teams.
What are we looking for?
* Experience in contentious financial services work, including enforcement, supervision, and approval cases
* Advisory experience with FCA-regulated entities
* Ability to quickly understand new legislation and adapt to changing priorities
* Interest in both contentious and non-contentious financial services work, providing pragmatic solutions
* Interest in continuous improvement and innovation, embracing change
* Willingness to participate in marketing initiatives and deliver knowledge sessions
* Excellent attention to detail and drafting skills
* Alignment with Kingsley Napley's core values and ethos
* Experience delegating tasks to junior team members
